National American Miss

I am going to the preliminary tryouts and info meeting for National American Miss next Tuesday. I am someone who absolutely does not believe in pageants, but this one is not a beauty pageant. There is no swimsuit, no modeling, and if your under 12 your not allowed to wear make-up. The finals are in Disneyland which would of course be so fun, but my main incentive is the college scholarships. You can win so much money in scholarships, that I couldn't pass up a chance to try out. Wish me luck:)

My New "Thing"

I have set my eyes on a new goal. Getting into Catlin Gabel. It is a private k-12 school right next to St.Vincents. Application deadline is February 9th So I am crossing my fingers that it all comes together. I don't think mummy thinks I am serious but I totally am! 100% of their students go to college, and 60% are in ivy leagues! That is so incredible. On top of that, the highest SAT scores in Oregon, are current Catlin Gabel students! The tuition is out of control so my only hope is a large scholarship. We will see what happens! Isnt the campus beautiful?!?The green barn is the cafeteria, but juniors and seniors can leave the campus for lunch.
Because I just love running (not), here is the trail cross country runs. Gorgeous!

This is just a courtyard, but it looks like a college campus.

Sick :( but on the brightside...

Well I haven't been to school in 3 days...that pretty much sucks. I have this throat, head, chest crap and I cant really do much. Hopefully I am better by tomorrow because my friends spaghetti auction is at beaverton high and it was a blast last year, and hopefully this year! I am also super excited to go see the new thriller/horror movie with my friends on Saturday, the uninvited! This sickness is really inconvenient so I want it to go away now! On the bright side, I have had a lot of time to research and ponder the cruise...OK maybe that's not such a good thing! I am going crazy and would really appreciate my birthday and Christmas gifts from father so I can shop for clothes! I want to be the best dressed teen there! Not to mention I hear there are some cute boys in the teen club ;) Thats all for now!

Update on Me

Well, I guess I could post some stuff...:)
As far as school goes I have a 4.0, I am the general ambassador of our schools Model United Nations club. We are given a country by the state (unfortunately ours is Pakistan which obviously has a TON of problems), and there are 5 committees and 2 GA's. Me and the other GA have to know absolutely everything there is to know about our country and be ready to answer any question they give us at credentialing in march. If we pass credentialing we will go to the Oregon MUN conference in April where will present our ideas and resolutions for the country, while arguing them with other country's. I am also head of the school newspaper and just wrote a feature article of life in a wheelchair. I am applying to volunteer at OHSU hospital in the childrens ward, and I am taking an online class at BYU, on health carreer. It is .5 credit. I will be going on a missions trip with megan to africa my senior year and another one with medical teams international hopefully next year. I am doing all this to get myself prepared to apply to Harvard in December 2010 for early admission. As you can tell I am so busy but I know when I am in the college I want to be in it will all be worth it!

As far as my personal life goes I am so blessed to have awesome friends, and great style;) haha jk. A typical friday and saturday for me includes movies, friends houses, the hide and go seek game with like a billion people at 10:00 throughout stonegate neighborhood, or making crazy videos. The latest is Dog Kennel which can be found on youtube:) I luuuuurrrve driving and my friends are vair jelouse. My favorite books are the twilight series and I basically spend all of my free time thinking about edward cullen, being a vampire, and forks. Its extremely unhealthy and I should probably check myself into rehab. I also love the geogia nicolson books and get my ab exersise from that on account of I am in pain after laughing so hard. I have literaly been sore after reading them because they are HILARIOUS!!!! Its a movie in the UK and I want it!!!! Its called Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. Werid title, good book. On a side note I just signed up for a play starting in april and its high school musical 3!!! Just start calling me sharpay. On top of that I am getting ready to audition for American Idol this summer!!! Somehow I am supposed to get a knee surgery in between. Oh ya!!! and I am going to London and Paris next summer with the Johnsens and they are buying my ticket!!! I am SOOOO excited! Hmm. Well I think I have bored you all enough. Heres some recentsih pics. The wheelchair one if for the newspaper and its ugly i already know!!!

Funny Stories

Ok so, I found some already uploaded pictures and they are mostly from funny stories. They didnt really happen recently...between like Feburary to now. So, I may have to post them all seperate but...heres the first. And you better like them because this is a lot of time:)

Number 1:
Haha ok I think you can see the funny in it. Me and my (adorable, amazing, spanish helping, aisian) friend Jasmine decided we wanted to take some pictures at the mall in the mac store. So there we were, minding our business, taking our pictures, when we noticed a guy in our picture. He was totaly gone when we turned around. So than, we take another one and, theres the man. He was nowhere to be found so, we settled on calling him ghost man! I thought it was pretty funny....

Number 2:
So, I have a friend. He is a football player and pretty popular with the girls. Well, hes not a fan of Toby. One night, I had like 11 friends over and we were playing this tag kinda game down stairs. My friend, Uche, had already been severly made fun of, after he screamed higher than ,e and backed into the corner when toby barked upstairs. My friend Ron thought it would be funny to put Toby in the closet with Uche. WE all thought it was funny. He, not so much. He was almost reduced to tears because of fear, and us because of laughing. Well the next day I didnt want him to feel to much hatred for Toby so I sent him this:) It is now a huge joke with me and my friends. HAHAHAHA its hilarious!

Number 3:
Ok, well, this is really embarasing to myself but, I have had worse:) In case you were wondering, yes I do watch very scary things and I DOOOOOO think my house is haunted. I totally do. So one day when I got out of the shower, I was NOT happy to see this. In fact I screamed for my mother and she walked in laughing. I didnt really see why she was laughing at this clear "GET OUT" sign from the ghosts. She told me there was tape on the mirror laughed, walked out, and left me in fear. I bet you would be scared to see this to when you are already sensitive!!!!!! (Look close you can see the X)
Number 4:
Last, but certainly NOT the last of my stories, the embarresing suitcase. So, when I went to San Fran, me and Megan flew in, and then our friend flew in about an hour after. So, we thought we packed pretty good. Ya know, for 4 or 5 days and all. We panicked when Esther called when she landed and said she didnt check any bags and she would walk straight out. We didnt really know how to hide this...

This is for two people....I wonder if we like offended Korean culture? Haha well Im out. Peace
